Twelfth Night, 4/17

Goode Theatre
Wednesday, Apr 17, 2019 at 7:30 PM (ET)

Written by William Shakespeare
Directed by Chris Hanna

Produced by ODURep

Four centuries ago, Shakespeare wrote a comedy about gender confusion and binary breakdown. Surprisingly, his play is more daring and more fun than much of today’s media buzz on the topic. Both Olivia and Orsinio, two glamour icons of mystical Illyria, fall for young Viola. Each believes Viola is a man, but neither seems interested in knowing more. Shakespeare tosses off traditional identity norms as if they were a pair of tight spike heels and dives directly into the heart (and other parts) of human attraction. Smart, sensual, and spicy, and great conversation for the way home!

Free parking is available in Garage D, 1070 W. 45th St.
